  1. Those who have not studied Tamil upto XII std and taken a Non- Tamil language under Part-I shall take Tamil comprising of two courses (level will be at 6th standard)
  2. Those who have studied Tamil upto XII std and taken a non-Tamil language under Part-I shall take advanced Tamil comprising of two courses.
  3. Those who have taken Tamil language upto XII std and taken Tamil as Part – I language at Degree level can choose non-major elective comprising of two course
